High Hurdle Careers

Some careers are more difficult to enter because of:

1. An entrance exam.

2. A required high grade point average.

3. Competitive and selective by nature.

Examples of such careers are:  law, medicine, police force, professional athletes and musical performers.

If an individual wishes to pursue a “high hurdle” career, he/she should do so with focus and determination.  However, a second career plan should be in place as a back up option.
