Here are a few good pointers to follow concerning your resume:

Design:

These tips will make your resume easier to read and/or scan into an employer's data base.

bulletUse white or off-white paper.
bulletUse 8-1/2- x 11-inch paper.
bulletPrint on one side of the paper.
bulletA high school student's resume should not be more than one page.
bulletUse a font size of 10 to 14 points.
bulletUse non-decorative typefaces.
bulletChoose one typeface and stick to it.
bulletAvoid italics, script, and underlined words.
bulletDo not fold or staple your resume.
bulletIf you must mail your resume, put it in a large envelope.
